APPLICATION MR AMENDEMENT TO OPERATING LICENSE Pursuant to Section 50.90 of the regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (URC), the Power Authority of the State of New York, as holder of Facility Operating License No. DPR-59, hereby applies for an Amendment of the Technical Specifications contained in Appendix A of this license.
'This proposed amendment to Appendix A of the operating Lice 1se deletes the closure time limit of the High Pressure Coolant Injection (HPCI) pump suction line isolation valves. This closure time limit is given in Table 3.7-1 of the Technical Specifications (page 202). The proposed change deletes a time limit requirement which was included in the original Technical Specifications, but which is not necessary to assure the safe operation of the U plant or the health and safety of the public. This change will conform the
