1.

Programs for effluent and environmental monitoring, using the IN SE R, guidance in Regulatory Guide 4.15, February 1979.

Each procedure and administrative policy of 6.8.1 above, and changes 6.8.2 thereto, including temporary changes shall be reviewed prior to implementation as set forth in 6.5 above.

6.8.3 The following programs shall be maintained:

Primary Coolant Sources Outside Containment a.

A program to reduce leakage from those portions of systems outside containnent that could contain highly radioactive fluids during a serious transient or accident to as low as practical levels. The systems include recirculation portions of the containment spray, safety injection and chemical and volume control systeN, the waste gas system, the Reactor Coolant sampling system, the rf.sidual heat removal system, and the containment atmosphere sampling system.

The program shall include the following.

(i) Preventative maintenance and periodic visual inspection require-c ments, and Integrated leak test requirements for each system with the (ii) exception of the waste gas system and the containment atmosphere sampling system which are " snoop" tested at refueling cycle intervals or less.
