s DOCKET NO. 50-266 UNIT NAME Point Beach Unit 1 DATE May 1, 1993 COMPLETED BY R. F. Arnold TELEPHONE 414/755-6193 Unit 1 was shutdown for refueling and maintenance outage (U1R20) for the month of April with zero electrical output.

Licensee Event Report 50-266 and 50-301/93-001-00, Nonconservative Setpoints For The Low Temperatu.e Overpressure System, was submitted.

The setpoints for the Unit 1 safeguards time delay relays which control the safeguards sequencing of the containment fan cooler motors were changed to meet the 60-second start time following the initiation of a design basis LCCA as described in FSAR.

Safety-related maintenance included:

1. Reconnected wire in main control board for the electric auxiliary feedwater pump control circuit. Wire was disconnected during as-built wire tracing work activity. All-wire lug connections in the Unit 1 main control board were check tightened.
2. Replaced residual heat removal pump seal and installed outer bearing race spacer.
3. Installed mechanical and electrical upgrades to the main steam isolation valves.
4. Installed a new disk in main steam isolation valve (MS-2017),

stelite face of disk was cracked.

5. Replaced solenoid valve on service water supply valve to radwaste steam systems (SW-LW-061).
6. Replaced air operator slide valve on containment purge supply valve (IliVPSE-3 24 4 ) .
7. Installed mechanical and electrical upgrades on the main steam isolation valves.
8. Installed bypass around mini-recirc control valve solenoid for IST required testing of steam driven auxiliary feedwater pump (1P-29).

u

'9. Installed 4 rotor limit switches on several safety-related MOVs.

10. Rebuilt' actuators and replaced tubing between the actuator and slide valve on the containment purge supply and exhaust valves.
