This refers te the audit conducted by Mr. C. R. McFarland of this office
on October 15-17, 1973,' of the quality esauremea program for design,
procurer.-t and esastnaction of the Brunswiak 1 and 2 facilities, md -
to the d 44mosion of our pre 14=dmary findings held by Mr. McFarland
with Mosers. M.' F. Thompson, Jr. and R. R. Banks of your staff.
Areas ===4 ped during the inspection and our findings are diaeussed in the
emelosed inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted
of selective =pandmatism of procedures and representative records,
intervieve with personnel, and ebeervations by the taspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were ~ disclosed.

actions you have taken with regard to previously
identified enfortensamt matters and tsaresolved items. The status of
these items is identified in Sections II and IV of the summary of
the enclosed report.
In accordanes with Section 2.790 of the AEC's "Relas of Practice," Part 2
Title 10, Osde of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the
enclosed inspection report will be placed in the ABC's P411e Decament
Boom. If this report contains any information that you believe to be
proprier.sry,-it is necessary'that you'se mit a written application to
this office regensting that soeh information be withheld from pelie
