h9R ASSISTANCE TO RES IN SUPPORT OF THE PROPOSED TRAINIt!G RULE By memorandum dated February 24, 1992, you requested assistance in evaluating

.public comments and developing the final rule on " Training and Qualification of Nuclear Power Plant Personnel." The Human Factors Assessment Branch will provide such assistance to the extent possible.

Either Mary Ann Biamonte or Rick Pelton, both of whom have the necessary knowledge and experience, will be available to assist you.

Because of our heavy workload, we cannot assign a person to RES directly nor can we designate only one individual who would be continuously available. During Mr. Fleishman's rotational assignment, we will work with Rajender Auluck.
