ATTACHMENT RESPONSE TO OR. H. MYERS' REQUESTS OF APRIL 20, 1990 y
Question 1:
Does NRC staff believe the information provided today constitutes nonconform-ance and deficiency report logs?
Rtsponse 1:
l Yhe Region I staff does not consider the material provided by the licensee l.
relative to Pullman-Higgins nonconformance and deficiency reports to be logs.
As discussed in response to Dr. Myers' requests of April 12, 1990, Region I determined that the Pullman-Higgins nonconformance report log which had been l
maintained by the Pullman-Higgins QA staff during construction was not a quality record and was no longer available.
Lacking such log information, Region I attempted to provide other information that would be-responsive to Dr.
Myers' request by asking the licensee for nonconformance or other similar de-ficiency or corrective action reports generated by or against Pullman-Higgins i
during the time frame of interest to Dr. Myers.
The lists of nonconformance reports and deficiency report information provided to the NRC E00 office for delivery to Dr. Myers were not considered logs, but they did constitute the material provided by the licensee in response to questions regarding available information of this nature.
