NRC REVIEW OF SEISMIC REPORT ON WNP-3 This letter is in response to your letter to me dated June 8,1990, concerning the WNP-3 seismic report review. You expressed concern at the length of time it was taking NRC to review the report.

-I want to assure you that my staff remains cognizant of this report und that

-the resources invested in this review by the Supply System and the portion of the NRC staff review completed to date will not be lost. However, due to other priorities we will not be able to meet our current SER completion target of late spring 1990. Our current estimate is that the SER will be completed by December 1, 1990.

If you have questions on the precise status and progress of the staff review, please call our Project Manager for WNP-3, Mr. Alexander Adams, Jr., at (301)492-1127.
