SHOREHAM NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNIT 1. (TAC NO. 75389)
Enclosed please find the subject environmentel assessment and finding of no significant impact relating to your letter of December 8,1989. Your letter requests an exemption from 10 CFR 50.54(o) and, in turn, the containment leak rate testing requirements of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix J.
Appendix J to 10 CFR Part 50 addresses the performance of periodic tests to verify the integrity of primary containment.
Thic environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact is being forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
