This letter refers to the routine safety inspection by Mr. D. Beaulieu at th'e

Beaver Valley Power Station Unit 2 in Shippingport, Pennsylvania.
The purpose
of this inspection was to verify the alignment and material condition of the
Auxiliary Feedwater system. .The reporting period covers the time from -
April 30, - May 4, 1990. The inspection consisted of document reviews, inter-
views and observation of activities. The findings were summarized.and dis-

cussed with Mr. T. Noonan and other members of your staff- at the conclusion of
