dated January 18, 1990' The NRC staff has reviewed References (a), (b), and (d)(:regarding Tennessee Valley Authority's (TVA) Procedures Generation Package PGP) for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant (BFN). As a result of this review, the staff concluded that the PGP Program at BFN continues to need further. improvement in order to ensure TVA's capability for developing.and maintaining high quality emergency operating procedures. The staff's safety evaluation report is enclosed.
TVA is requested to revise its PGP for BFN, ~as appropriate. to. address staff concerns detailed in Reference (e).
Furthermore, TVA should review and reflect L
