Thank you for'your letter of February 20, 1990, responding to our request that you reevaluate your proposed. schedule for-the installation of the hardened vents in the wetwells for Hatch Units 1 and 2.
Your' explanation of the reasons why the vent ~ installation cannot reasonably be completed on Unit 1 prior.to the-end'of January 1993 is acceptable.
We agree that-a special outage, solely for the purpose - of. -achieving vent installation on Unit 1 by_ the end of p
January, 1993, rather than your proposed completion date of April 30, 1993, is not warrented. Accordingly, we will expect activities related to design and installation of the vents in Hatch Units i and 2 to proceed on the schedule outlined in the enclosure to your February 20, 1990 letter.
Please advise us,11 there are changes to this schedule.
