Mr. P. B. Fiedler fiarch 10, 1982 Note that such requests should deal with only tihe inservice inspection of pressure-bearing components including supports and with system pres-sure tests. The inservice testing of pumps and valves is being treated separately and you will receive information regarding it by separate correspondence.

Your requests should include both exempted components under the terms of the code as well as relief from the requirements of the code in accordance with Paragraph g of 10 CFR 50.55a.

Also please advise when you are using later code versions than the S-75 Addenda (per Item (g)(4)(iv) of 10 CFR 50.55a) for certain examinations, particularly how you are meeting "all related requirements" from the same version.

Because your previous submittals generally seeni to follow the appropriate guidelines, we are proceeding with the review.

Early in that review, we may be contacting you for additicnal information. To expedite the review, please' advise your assigned project manager verbally within 10 days as to previous submittals we should be reviewing or other requests for relief that are forthcoming.

The reporting and/or recordkeeping requirements contained in this letter affect fewer than ten respondents; therefore, OMB clearance is not required under P.L.96-511.

Sincerely, MA 7
