Gentlemen:
Ue have received copies of the following changes which were filed with the Office of iluclear Reactor Regulation (Of!RR) for review of items portaining to the Oyster Creek fluclear Generating Station:
1.
Change Requests 61 and 69 dated May 3,1978 and June 1, 1979, respectively, on Augmented Offgas Monitoring System. A Class III fee of $4,000 has been paid for each of these changes.
2.
Revision lio. 5 dated April 3,1981, to /vnendment 71 to the Facility Description and Safety Analysis Report which revises the Operational Quality Assurance Plan.
Fees pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22 were not remitted with this revision which was approved by the 0!1RR staff's letter and Safety Evaluation dated July 10, 1931.
Based on infomation provided to us by the OilRR staff as a result of a preliminary review of iteu 1 and a final review of item 2 above, it has been detemined that:

A single Class III fee of $4,000 is applicable for Proposed Change Itos. 61 and 69 because they involve a single safety issue and review on fio. 61 had not cornenced when it was superseded by fio. 69. Therefore, ygg a refund of $4,000 is appropriate, and coru a.

A Class II fee of $1,200 is due the USliRC for item 2 go which involved an evaluation that was administrative in o
nature.
ex gg As a result of the above fee determinations, in one instance your Company is due a refund of $4,000 and in the other, a sum of $1,200 is due the oa7 USilRC.
