Subject: Report Nos. 50-259/81-34, 50-260/81-34, 50-296/81-34
Thank you for your letter of January 7,1982, informing us of steps you have
taken to c.orrect the items of noncompliance concerning activities under NRC
Operating License Nos. DPR-33, DPR-52, and DPR-68 brought to your attention in
our letter of 0ecember 10, 1981.
Your commitments for corrective actions regarding Violations A and C are
satisf actory. We will examine your corrective actions for these items during
a subsequent inspection.
We have carefully reviewed the statements in your letter supporting your
denial of Violation B and we have re-evaluated our position on this matter.
Our position remains that your failure to observe vehicle access te the
protected area from o bullet resistant structure is in violation of your
approved security plan and decreases the effectiveness of your security
program. Your correction of this violation is warranted.
Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201, you are hereby requuted to submit
,
a supplemental response to Violation 8 to this office within thirty days of
!
the date of this letter.
This supplemental response should include:
the
corrective steps which have been taken and the results achieved; the
corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further violations; and the date
when full compliance will be achieved.
