Provide Justification regarding the amplification factor of 2 used for valve qualification:
The applicant is coauf tted to provide Justification regarding LaSalle Plant's valve amplification factor of 1.5 as argument for justifying Zimer's more conservative amplitication tactor of 2.
C.
Limitorque motor operators were dynamically qualified for seismic loaoing only. Evidence of qualitication of tnese operators to the additional hydrodynamic loadings (due to either the safety relief valve discharge or LOLa blowdown into the suppression pool) should be provided:
The applicant is committed to provide tne test report by 9/30/81.

Piping analysis results should be checked when available to make sure the loading imposed by piping on all the valves do not exceed allowable g levels and nozzle loads:
The applicant's 7/21/81 subuittal indicated that piping analysis completion is scheduled for mid-August,1981 and verification program is scheoulea for completion by 9/1/81. The applicant should notify NRC if this is indeed coupleted, and the result and conclusion should be submitted.
