Construction of the Oconee Nuclear Station, Unit 3 (the facility) has been substantially co=pleted in conformity with Construction Permit No. CPPR-35 and the application, as a: ended, the provisions of the Act and the rules and --*egulations of the Commission; . _e _ The facility will operate in conformity with the application, as amended, the c. provisions of the Act, and the rules and regulations of the Cocmission; d. There is reasonable assurance: (i) that the activities authorized by this j operacing license can be conducted without endangering the health and safety I of the public, and (ii) that such activities will be conducted in compliance .with the._ rules and regulations of the Commission; The licensee is technically and financially qualified to engage in the _e. activities authorized by this operaging license in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Commission; f. Facility Operating License No. DPR-55 is hereby issued to the Duke Pcwer Company (the licensee) to read as follcws: 1. This license applies to 2km Oconee Nuclear Station, Unit 3, a pressurized water reactor and associated equipment (the facility), owned by the Duke Power Co=pany. The facility is located in eastern Oconee County, about eight miles northeast of Seneca, South Carolina, and is described in the " Final Safet.y Analysis Report" as supplemented and amended (Amendments 1 through-46) and the Environ: ental Report as supplemented and amended (Supplement 1). 2. Subject to the conditions and requirerents incorporated herein, the Commission hereby licenses Dake Power Coepany (the licensee): A.
