CONTROL OF HEAVY LOADS - THREE MILE ISLAND UNIT 1 (TMI-1)
Enclosed is a draft Technical Evaluation Report (TER) dated Septecher 21, 1981 for THI-l which was developed based on your submittal dated February 17, 1981 on "Contml of Heavy Loads". This TER addresses your response to Section 2.1 of our December 22, 1980 letter. We request that you review this draft TER. We will be contacting you in the near future to discuss your conments and to msolve open items listed in the draft TER.
With regard to Guideline 7. Crane Design, it is noted that the crane meets the requirements of Electric Overhead Crane Institute (EOCI) and a review is under way comparing EOCI with CM%-70. Your submittal reporting the result of this review should contain a. point by point comarison betenen the two standards and an evaluation of.the differences.
