Addendum to Accident Environment Test for Class A,B,C,D,E & F penetrations - applicabic to all Brunswick types UEtt spec.
9527-01-ll8-1-CP141 comment on lack of humidity test.
The specification requires a temnerature of (1) 340 F at 56 PSIC, (2) 250 F at 25 PSIG and (3,) 200 F at 20 PSIG all at a concurrent 100% humidity.
The first condition is a superheated steam condition.
The second two are at pressures and temperatures that result in wet stca, conditions since the temperature, are t o ;cr thcn tha saturated teraperatures required by Lt.: prcosurcs.
Hence with the exception of the first six hours the prototypes were expos'ed fer at least 18 hours2.083333e-4 days
0.005 hours
2.97619e-5 weeks
6.849e-6 months
to wet steam with a humidity of 100%.
The intent of the specificaticn therefore has been met to the extent of physica*- possibility.
