As requested in a telephone ct'nversation sith you c; July 31, 1981, Carolina Power & Light Company f /6L) hereby supplies additional information concerning the Brunsvipk Steam Electric Plant's response to Supplement 3 of IE Bulletin 79-015 dated January 30, 1981. Attached, as requested, please find the following test reports:

The January 30, 1981 submittal describes the qualification of i

Acoustic Monitors for the Safety Relief Valves which correlates I

to IUREG-0737 Item II.D.3, " Direct Indication of Relief and Safety Valva Position".

The normal environment inside the Brunswick containment as described in the FSAR is:

Average Drywell Temperature is 135*F b.

Maximm Drywell Temperature is 150*F (during normal operation) c.

During power operation, the containment has a positive presrure between 0.15 and 1.25 psig at 105'F d.

Content of the atmosphere is nitrogen with less then 4% oxygen 11020L]p 81 I
