At 0845 on September 28, 1981, af ter Reactor Plant shutdown, it was discovered that Dose Equivalent Iodine 131 exceeded 1.0 pei per gram.

Four hour sampling frequency was initiated but the sample required Q

at 1500 was inadvertently destroyed.

Resample was drawn at 1615 asd four hour sampling was resumed at 1900.

There was no effect upon the health or safety of the general public.

A detailed report will follow within fourteen (14) days in accordance with Technical Specification 6.9.1.8 b.
