SUBJECT: Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-13 File 0260/L-835.0 Reactor Vessel Flange and Head Flange Temperature Surveillance Requirements Not Met LER 83-052/03 L-0 AECM-83/0275 On Anril 11, 1983, while reviewing the vessel head installation work package, it was discovered that the head flange and vessel flange thermecouples had not been physically reinstalled during the insulation installation. The surveillance requirements of Technical Specification 4.4.6.1.4 were not met.

The event is reported pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.1.13.b.
