On April 23, 1983, the surveillance coordinator discovered that the suppression pool level instrumentation had not been functionally tested prior to exceeding its late date of April 9, 1983. The appropriate action of Technical Specification 3.5.3 was taken. The event is reported pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.1.12.b.
