SITE VISIT TO THE OYSTER CREEK NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION As discussed with Mr. J. Knubel of your staff, we will be conducting a site visit to the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station on September 17, 1981. The purpose of this visit is to meet with piant personnel to discuss the Integrated Assessment Program, and to tour the facility to gain an appreciation for the overall plant and its condition. The,,roposed agenda for the meeting is contained in the enclosure.

1.
Highlight problem areas experienced while performing the first integrated assessment on Palisades nuclear generating station.
2.
Discuss with Oyster Creek management actions they should take to avoid these same problems and to speed up the overali inte-grated assessment.
3.
Tour the 0ytter Creek nuclear station to:
Obtain an appreciation for the overall plant and its condition.
Relate to the plant systems that.have deviations from current regulatory criteria.
Suggested itinerary for meeting:
Morning session -
1.
Bill Russell will discuss the problems recently experienced with the integrated assessment at Palisades.
2.
Open discussion on actions the licensee should take to avoid similar problems and speed up integrated assessment of their plant.
Afternoon session -
Tour the plant and discuss related SEP torics that have already been identified with deviations.
