Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

In occordance with Section 6.9.1.9b of the Technical Specifications for Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unit No. 2, the enclosed supplemental Licensee Event Report is submitted. The original report fulfilled the requirement for a written report within thirty (30) days of a reportable occurrence and both are ir accordance with the format set forth in NUREG-0161, July 1977.

Due to an administrative error in maintaining and issuing LERs, this event was reported under both LER numbers 2 81-73 and 2-81-81.

Please cancel LER 2-81-73 as currently submitted from your files as the Brunswick station will assign that number te a future event.
