Comments on FEMA Review The Commission has received from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) a review of emergency planning exercises conducted on August 19, 1981 in the vicinity of the Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant.

This letter is to notify the parcies to this proceeding that the Commission intends to consider this report in its review pursuant to 10 CFR 2.764 (f) of the Licensing Board's July 17, 1981 decision an PG&E's application for a low power testing license and to provide an opportunity for parties to submit their comments to the Commission on the FEMA report and the related memorandum from Joan Aron, NRC's Office of Policy Evaluation, to the record concerning telephone conversations with FEMA.

Comments must be received by the Secretary of the Commission by Wednesday, September 16, 1981 to insure consideration of the Commission in its 2.764 (f) review of the low power decision.
