Description of Event

on December 30, 1980, with t2e Unit is Mode 1, steam flee channel III (FI-2484) became erratic, then went to zero and then back to normal indication without any annunciators or computer alarms.

Probable Consequences of Occurrence Since there wer-redundant channels indicating steam flow, the health and safety of the general public were not affected.

Cause of Event

The cause of the erratic indication of FI2484 is unknown at this time.

Immediate Corrective Action

The channel was placed in the trip condition within 1 hour1.157407e-5 days <br />2.777778e-4 hours <br />1.653439e-6 weeks <br />3.805e-7 months <br /> and calibrated using approved procedures.

No problem vcs found. The channel was subsequently placed back into service.

Scheduled Corrective Action No scheduled corrective action is required.
