.g The following_ corrections were made to the attached 1988 Solid Waste Release Reports:
1)
One shipment of non-compactible dry active waste made to ALARON, (Wampum, PA) one shipment of compactible dry active waste made to
' Scientific Ecology Group (0ak Ridge, TN) and one shipment to Quadrex (0ak Ridge, TN) for further processing, volume reduction, and disposal were added due to a change in AP&L's interpretation of Regulatory Guide 1.21 as described in the revision to the Third and Fourth Quarter of 1987 Solid Waste Release Report (Attachment 1),

SAIC, the company which performs waste analysis for ANO, informed AP&L of an error in the efficiencies used for gamma scanning composites of -
smears and filters. This error was discovered as a result of SAIC's internal quality assurance program. As a result of this error, a change in the dry active waste scaling factors has been made regarding the Co60/Fe55 ratio. The changes to the attached reports are as follows:
