Gentlemen:
As a result of an informal review of the information compiled in the Semiannual Radiological Effluent Release Reports, a more conservative method of reporting solid waste shipments was identified and subsequently determined to be a more desirable method of reporting. This reporting change resulted in changes to the Semiannual Radiological Effluent Release-Reports for the second half of 1987 and the first half of 1988.
Additionally, a company which perfoms waste analysis for ANO informed AP&L of an error which resulted in changes to the solid waste release portion of both of the 1988 Semiannual Radiological Effluent Release Reports. provides a description of those changes and corrected portions
. of the Solid-Waste Release Reports in th^ Semiannual Radiological Effluent Release Report for the 3rd and 4th quarters of 1987. Attachment 2 provides corrected information for the 1988 reporting period.
Also, as a result of a Safety Review Conmittee action, the omission an unplanned release for the first half of 1989 and resultant corrections to the Semiannual Radiological Effluent Release Report have been identified.
