Attachment 1 Docket No. 05000247 Consolio$ted Edison of 'N.Y., Inc.

LER 81-013/OlT-0 Indian Point Unit No. 2 During testing of the motor driven auxiliary boiler feed pumps, flow from the pumps was less than required flow. The plant was at hot shutdown conditions. There were no adverse con-sequ6nces caused by the pump not producing the required flow.

1 New feedwater regulating valve trim in four (4) lines leading to the steam generators, was installed during the Cycle 4/5 refueling and maintenance outage and was determined to be the cause of the restricted feedwater flow. A plant cooldown was initiated. The valve trim in each valve was modified to correct the condition. The test was re-run with each motor driven auxiliary boiler feed pump, and the data indicated that each pump met flow requirements.
