The Commission was briefed by st5ff on the proposed issuance of a facility operating license allowing full-power operation of Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Unit 2.
The Commission reached no final decision at the meeting and scheduled another meeting for 2:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, June 9, 1981.
The Commission requested:
1.
staff to reconsider treatment of Appendix J waivers by proposing a rule change; (NRR) (SECY Suspense: 9/1/81) 2.
that staff clarify the inconsistency between statements used by staff regarding a Tech Spec requirement for completion of the upgraded emergency support facilities by October 1, 1982.
