APPLICATION OF SRP 15.4.6 ACCEPTANCE CRITERI iG OPERATING REACTORS.

In recent reload application reviews RSB has taken the position described in the last paragraph of Enclosure 1. (i.e. "It is our position that a positive means of alerting-the operator to a boron dilution event be installed in the control room as soon as practical.")

We request your review of this position as related to its safety significance and "back-fitting" implications for all PWRs.
