SUBJECT: HRC INSPECTION PEPORT NOS. 50-369/89-39 AND 50-370/89-39
This refers to the Nuclear Reculatory Comission (NRC) inspection conducted by-
A. Gooden on December 5-8, 1969.
The inspection included a review of
activities authorized for your McGuire 'acility.
At the conclusion of the
inspection, the findings were discussrd with those members of your staff
identified in the enclosed inspection-iaport.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report.
Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of
activities in progress.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.

Your attention is directed to the exercise weakness identified in Paragraph 8
of the enclosed Inspection Report.
As required by 10 CFR 50 Appendix E.
I
Section IV.F. any weaknesses that are identified shall be corrected.
Accordingly, please advise us within 45 days of the date of this letter, the
corrective action you have taken, or plan to take, showing the estimated date of
completion with regards to exercise weakness.
The enclosed Inspection Report documents an oral comitment (see Paragraph 15)
made by a licensee representative and discussed in the exit interview.
If your
understanding of this commitment differs from the report statements, please
inform this office promptly.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2 .
Title 10. Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
