APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Tennessee Valley Authority License Nos. 50-327/80-30 Sequoyah 50-328/80-17 Based on the NRC inspection July 29, 1980, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements. as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by 49 CFR 173.392(c)(6) shipment must be braced so as to prevent leakage or shift of lading under conditions normally incident to transporta-tion.
Contrary to the above, on July 29, 1980 two shipments received at the Chem Nuclear Barnwell burial site (SSR 321627, Trailer #822130, Tractor #343731, Cask #CL-100-1 and SSR #21626, Trailer #823039 Tractor #402438, Cask #L-100-L) were found without the required bracing.
This is a Severity Level III noncompliance.
