By letter dated July 31, 1973, we requested additional information whJch you submitted by letter dated September 12, 1973, titled " Report on Effects of a Piping Systen Ersak Outside Conemin= ant Supplemental Information" dated September 1973.
Rased on our review of your reports, we have concluded that upon comple-tion of necessary plant modifications, the Yankae Nuclear Power Station can withstand the consequences of a rupture in any high energy fluid piping outsida com =in=m t without loss of the capability to initiata and main-e tain safe shutdown of tha plant. A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is enclosed.
