Dear Mr. Jones:
The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 47 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-40 for the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No. 1.
The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your request dated July 17, 1979, as supplemented by letters dated October 30 and December 4, 1979 and January 28, February 12, 25 and March 12, 1980.
The amendment revises the Technical Specifications to be consistent with the Cycle 6 reload analysis and revises fechnical Specifications for reactor coolant system heatup and cooldown.
During our review, we made changes in your proposed Technical Specifications which were discussed with and agreed to by your staff. Your request for increasing your current licensed power level from 1420 MWt to 1500 MWt is still under review.
