Coupling damaged due to misalignment and loss of lubricant in coupling. That coupling seal was found separated. There was excessive wear on the coupling gear teeth.

'The MG set was realigned, the coupling was replaced, all other MG set couplings were lubricated..The frequency'for vibration monitoring was increased. Also-initiated an anhlysis of the coupling failure-mode and the lubricant. 3EN coupling was changed due to similar damage.
