Dear Mr. Denton:

In accordance with Mr. William H. Reagan, Jr.'s February 7,1977 letter of approval of our proposed non-radiological preoperational i monitoring program, attached are ten copies of the results of the July,1979 through June,1980 continuing interim study for the Catawba Nuclear Station.

There have been no modifications to the study, sampling technique or analytical technique from those previously submitted. The continuing interim study has indicated no distinct changes in the water quality of Lake Wylie in the last year.

Please advise us of any comments or questions you may have regarding this continuing study.
