Infraction
-
Uniocked and unattended high radiation doors to Unit 2's high
pressure heater /x area and Unit _2's turbine pipeway'.

Discussion:

Contrary to 10 CFR 20.203 (c) (2) (iii) , the door to the Dresden
Unit 2 high pressure heater area /k area and the door to the
I
Unit-2 turbine pipeway were found unlocked and unattended on
Deccmber 14 and 15, 1976, respectively.
Corrective Action:
-
The doors to the above posted "High Radiation Areas" were sub-
sequently locked. closed in compliance with 10 CFR 20 requirements
and Station procedures.
Correction Action to Avoid Recurrence:

In order to avoid recurrence of unlocked, unattended high
radiation areas, th'; Station Superintendent will send a letter
to each Station employe informing them of the occurrences,
potential problem areas, employe responsibilities, and the
l
possibility of disciplinary action.
(
In addition, a check of the high radiation arca doors will be
added to the rounds of the roving plant operators.
Date' of Full Compliance:
The employe letter will be distributed by February 15,.1977.

Revision'of the operator rounds should be completed by March
1, 1977.-
