i APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION l
Tennessee Valley Authority License No. DPR-77 Sequoyah Nuclear Plant Eased on the NRC inspection June 24-26, 1980, certain of your activities were
- apparently not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by Section'6.8.1 of the Technical Specifications " Written proce-dure shall be established, implemented and maintained covering the activities referenced in Appendix "A" of Regulatory Guide 1.33 Rev. 2" and TVA Division of Engineering Design, Engineering Procedure EN DES-EP 1.01 - Preparation and Processing of Division - Level Engineering Procedures Section 3.1 states that all activities affecting the quality of design, construction and operation will be done with controlled written instructions or procedures.
Contrary to the above, as of June 26, 1980, approved written procedures were not available to perform the isometric walk down inspections and engineering evaluations.
This is an infraction.
