Three copies of the revised draft Standard Tecnnical Specifications (STS), developed for use in nucient plants e ploying Babcock and Wilcox (St.W) nuclear steam supply systems, are forwarded for your review trith regard to Davis-Besse Unit 1 application. The inithi objective of your review is to provide detailed co ments and recoc=endations for further development of the B&W-STS. As suggested by Mr. Joel RodSers of the Florida Power Corporation, we believe that it vould be beneficial for B&W and the lead utilities whose Technical Specifications are to be converted to the B&*J-STS to exchange and discuss applicable review co=ients and present these co=bined con =enta to the Regulatory Staff. The lead utilities are Florida Power Corporation (Crystal River, Unit 3), Metropolitian Edison Co=pany (Three Mile Island, Lait 2) and Toledo Edison Co=pany (Davis-Besse, Unit 1). Copies of this revised draft B5'J-S~IS have been sent to B&W and the other lead utilities =entioned above. For your infor=ation, we are enclosing the su=ary of a December 13, 1974 ceeting held with B&W and Metropolitan Edison Co=pany on this subject.
