SUBJECT:
DIFFERING PROFESSIONAL VIEW (DPV) 0F ROBERT LICCIARDO DATED MAY 11, 1989 On August 31, 1989, the DPV Standing Review Panel provided a raport to Dr. Murley on the subject matter. On September 13, 1989, Dr. Murley provided the enclosed memorandum regarding the disposition of Mr. Licciardo's concerns.
In that memorandum Dr. Murley stated that the following action should be taken:
"The staff should ansure that pressure and temperature effects during a LOCA are considered in the review of new and advanced fuel designs.
. (Action-Reactor Systems Branch)"
. By copy of this memorandum you are requested to take appropriate action regarding this matter.
A complete file 'of this DPV is maintained by the Chief, Planning, Program and Management Support Branch, PMAS.
