Region I tianagement Meeting, August 30, 1979 This refers to the meeting, held at your request, with members of my staff on August 30, 1979 at our office in Kir.. of Prussia, Pennsylvania and to the dis-cussions of your planned and completed improvements in your Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Radiation Protection Program which occurred during the subject meeting.
The matters discussed during this meeting are described in the Office of Inspection and Enforcement Meeting Summary which is enclosed with this letter.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
The enclosure was reviewed by members of your staff on June 2,1980 and it was determined that it does not contain proprietary information.

Meeting Purpose and Summary The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the implementation of the licensee's planned and corrective actions to upgrade the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station's Radiation Protection Program.
Previous meeting, conducted on June 5, 1979 (NRC requested) and July 6, 1979 (Licensee requested) also addressed-this matter.
During this meeting, licensee representatives provided a modified imple-mentation schedule for improving the licensee's Oyster Creek facility's Radiation Protection Program. The original schedule had been provided during the June 5,1979 meeting..The schedules provided at the July 6, 1979 and this meeting.(August 30,1979) had been modified to illustrate licensee progress in implementing the schedule.
Meeting Sumary 2
Region I management noted the licensee to be on schedule and indicated completion of the upgrade plan would improve the overall quality of the licensee's Radiation Protection Program, however an inspection of this facility would be necessary to detennine adequacy and effectiveness of implementation.
