Thank you for your letters of May 17 and May 20, 1976 in response to our
letter and Notice of Violation, dated April 27, 1976. As a result of our
review of your letter, we find that additional information is needed for
Noncompliance Item 2.
Based on telephone conversations with Mr. Cavanaugh
and other members of your staff on May 27 and May 28, 1976, it is our
understanding that you will provide additional information regarding your
laboratory record keeping and corrective actions taken that will provide
inspectability and auditability of these activities as is required by
10 CFR 50, Appendix B and the AP&L Quality Assurance Ibnual requirements.
It is requested that the additional information specified above be submitted
to this effice within 20 days of your receipt of this letter.
Should you have questions concerning this request, we will be pleased to
discuss them with you.
