Dear Mr. Howard:

We submit the following responses to deficiencies identified in the subject Irspection Report. The response is referenced by number to the inspection report with a brief description of the apparent defi-ciency as an introductory statement.
Item C.1 Contrary to Technical Specification, Appendix B, Section 5.6.2, paragraph C, two environmental occurrences were not rep)rted within the specified time interval.
Response
Personnel preparing written follow-up reports to environmental occurrences have been made cognizant of the present one (1) week raporting requirement and have been instructed to increase their efforts to comply with Section 5.6.2, paragraph C of the Environ-mental Technical Specifications.
A Technical Specification change will be initiated to extend the reporting time period in accordance with Regulatory Guide 10.1 and Regulatory Guide 4.8, upon its issuance.
Item C.2 Contrary to Technical Specification, Section 6.3, a training program and schedule was not established for maintenance personnel.

Response
A training plan is being fomulated which includes a program for maintenance personnel training. A training schedule in support of this plan has been promulgated by the Instrumentation 6 Controls Supervisor. One lecture from this schedule has been conducted. A training schedule will be promulgated by the Supervisor of Plant Maintenance. The training plan itself will be completed and undergo a final review / approval process. The complete training plan is expected to be implemented by October 1,1975.
Our response to that infraction identified (Item B.1) will be forthcoming by September 10, 1975.
