This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection' conducted by
P. K. VanDoorn and T. . Cooper on September 13. - October 13, 1989.
The
inspection included a
eview of ' activities authorized for' your McGuire
facility.
At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed
with those members of your' staff identified in.the enclosed inspection report.

Within

these" areas...the inspection concisted of selective' examinations of procedures-
and representative' records, interviews with personnel, and observation of

activities in progress.

. The inspection findings indicate that certain activities appeared to violate
NRC requirements.. However, because all of the criteria for categorization of

Licensee-identified violations were met, the. violation is not being cited.

details pertaining to the Licensee-identified violation are described in the
