Gentlemen:
This refers to the in-office inspection conducted by A. D. Kowalczuk
of this office during the period, May 31 - June 4, 1976, of activities
authorized by NRC Operating License Nos. DPR-38, DPR-47, and DPR-55 for
the Oconee 1, 2, and 3 facilities, and to the discussion of our findings
held by Mr. N. C. Moseley, Director, Region II and staff members with
Mr. W. O. Parker, Jr., Vice President Steam Production, and other repre-
sentatives of the Duke Power Company in Atlanta on June ,9, 1976.
Areas examined during the inspection included the current status of your
program for control and monitoring of radioactive effluents and the
effectiveness of corrective actions you have taken in response to previous
inspection findings related to this program. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examination of previous inspection
findings, related correspondence, and. reports.
Within the scope of this inspection no new items of noncompliance were
identified.
