Florida Power Corporation Crystal River Nuclear Generating Plant Docket No. 50-302 Enclosed are three (3) originals and nineteen (19) conformed copies of Amendment No. 42 to the Application for Licenses for Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant.

Also enclosed are an additional eighty-one (81) copies for a total of 103 copies, as previously furnished for your distribution.

Amendment No. 42 consists of revised pages to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). Specifically, Amendment No. 42 contains revisions to Section 1.5 Research and Develooment to include a list of supplementary detailed data as requested in Mr. A. Schwencer's letter of May 6, 1974; revisions to Section 8.0 Electrical Systems which reflect the modifica-tion in the plant design identified as ITEM #15 in our letter of June 4, 1974 to Mr. Voss A. Moore, Assistant Director for Light Water Reactors, Group 2; revisions to Appendix 12C Requalification Training Program iden-tified in our August 7,1974 letter to Mr. A. Schwencer, Chief, Light Water Reactors Branch :-3; and a complete revision of Table 15-6 Post-operational Inspections, contained in Section 15.0 Technical Soecifications.

In addition to the aoove revisions, Amendment No. 42 contains miscella-neous update pages and corporate organizational changes to other FSAR sections.
