The corrective action proposed in the licensee's CDR appears satisfactory providing that the dimensional measurements and liquid penetrant inspection ed the pump volute show no evidence of distration or surface discontinutess, respectively.

The liquid penetrat test should include both inside and outside surfaces.

If any rejectable PT indications are observed, re-radiography of the casting should be considered. The shop inspection results and rework procedures should be reviewed during follow-up inspections.
