The pump motor on 0-RM-90-134 burned out causing the conson circuit breaker on monitors 0-RM-90-134/141 and 1-RM-90-112 to cpen causing loss of the subject radiation monitors at approximately 1100 CST 5/29/80.
Conditions prior to Occurrence:
Unit i fuel loading complete and in Mode S.
Action specified in the Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements met due to inoperable equipment.
Technical Specification LCO 3.3.3.9, Action 29 was initiated upon discovery.
1-RM-90-112 was returned to service at approximately 1200 CST 5/29/80.
Apparent Cause of Occurrence:
Cause of pump motor burning out is unknown.
Analysis of Occurrence:
There was no hazard to the public health or safety.
Corrective Action:
Pump motor was replaced and 0-RM-90-134 placed into operabic status at 1600 CST 5/29/80.
