Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
We offer the following response to the apparent Item of Noncom-pliance in the referenced Inspection Report.
(j Technical Specification 6.9.1.6 requires that routine
-l reports of operating statistics and shutdown experience be submitted on a monthly basis not later than the 15th of the month following the calendar month covered by the J
report.
Contrary to this Technical Specification, the March 1978 Monthly Operating Report was not submitted until April 25, 1978.
Response: The Administrative Services Section of the Production Department was directed to establish, and has established, a tickler file for the monthly operating reoort.
This mechanism will notify the Nuclear Support Specialist, Reporting Services on the 8th day of each month that the CR-3 monthly operating report must be sub-mitted by the 15th of each month.
The above corrective action has been taken, and full compliance has been achieved.
